2 Vote or Not 2 Vote?

As most Canadians head off to vote, battling traffic and last minute lineups, I continue to watch the madness and wonder if people are ever going to notice what is really going on. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I truly believe a complete failure of the system has happened we have lost the power to vote. Some of you may say " well I just went out and voted", " what’s this lost the power mean?" Well its simple back in what we refer to as long ago you could vote for the local rep. go with him to see the next level of government (mostly because you had to ride in horse and carriage just to get there) state your case and most times just causes were dealt with. The people knew the government remember revolutions to the south and most people in the land running from countries across the ocean that would throw down at the first sign of tyranny. Fast forward to a new generation who don’t have the foggiest idea of what even happened in most recent times let alone two hundred years ago. I could go on forever explaining how we don't even know enough of how we got here to really know how to dig our self’s out of this mess. I will for know get to the main points as I write this 8:01pm est. no polls have come in but by the time Iam done we may well already know.

I predict that the kid wonder will get in, or as I call him Canada's Obama. That might be a whole different article in itself though. So here it is, have you ever in all of the year that you have been a voting member of society, did the party who just ousted the previous government ever rescind or repeal or change major political decisions? For example when Harper is gone and I do truly believe no one would choose him again, do you believe that Liberals or NDP would really rip up C-51 or back out of the TPP? Of course not and any real party/ person who would will never get in. They cannot compete with the big party politics.. ie money/lobbyist. If anyone really did get in with hope for change you must remember the 1963 JFK factor.

In the USA most awakened people realised that the top political campaign contributors were bankers, well actually Goldman Sacs bankers. They donated in record amounts to both republicans and democrats. So who won the last American election? Not the people but more like Goldman Sacs. I mean come on is the really only 2 families out of over 300 million worth voting for? Heres a Bush there’s a Clinton. I think the powers that be realized that most people only recognize names so if you grow up with a Bush in the White House you might just be gullible enough to vote Jeb in now. This may be why Trudeau has a good shot at winning, they already know his name. Harper has a terrible name for himself at this point. Just because people have a couple of choices doesn’t mean that either one of them is good. Lets say I gave you the choice of being hit in the head with a brick, bat or hammer. Does you believe the best choice in this situation is going to work out for you... of course not it sounds foolish just saying it but that is what the political theater has become. Just that, an illusion of choice. 1 coin with 2 sides, both are not what you really want when you believe in change.

The best example is Obama, the man came on the scene like he was the second coming.. for real. I myself saw through it but people really thought they were "gonna get them some" You remember the Obama Phone Lady right? in case you don't here she is.

This lady was silly enough to make an ass o herself on the interwebs because her man Obama gave her a phone, owed her a house and was gonna change it all. She along with all the Americans who bought this guys lines hook and sinker have witnessed first hand Bush wars continued, money printing continued, more police state and zero sing of hope.

I just did a quick check and the Liberals are sweeping the east coast. Here is a screen shot.

All day long I keep reading the typical status, "if you don’t vote don’t complain"... I feel more like "if you voted, this is your fault". How about instead of spending a week with a sign on your lawn. After this election is over follow up on what you were promised by local reps. Take note if policy changes happen. It sounds lke an extreme thing to suggest that abstaining from voting due to no actual choices. I can't in good conscious vote for a lesser of two evils. Do this logic sound like something one should do when choosing who is running our country. If you truly want to change your country attend local meetings, start standing up for you rights and run for local office. Take the time away from the tv to engage the present system before it becomes something far beyond choice and some thing future generations will never know is any different than how it was once upon a time.

Much more could be said and greater details could be made so check out my next episode of Truth Talk on MBC where I can communicate it better through speech and video.
